As we can clearly see the positive influence of Quarterly Vertical Spill-over on the forward PD movement at least for EB2 I/C, it would be great to open a communication channel with DOS Visa Office just to get clarification whether the correct interpretation of the LAW would be the basis of the January 2010 Visa Bulletin.

Regarding the orignal topic, even I have never heard anyone not getting citizenship because of them leaving the GC employer. Personally, I won't wait for six months or even a single day, if I see a better opportunity.
What happens in case of people who obtain GC through marriage and then due to some reason have to divorse? Do they have to stay married for a certain period of time?? :D:D If so how much would that be?

I never thought that working for a contractor was something bad!! In fact, I was thinking that contracting is better than working full time! Am I missing something here???
I mean think about it... you get to work on different projects and you get to learn new stuff, new environments, new people!
Stay as a full timer and you don't grow (well not like a contractor anyways!). All in all, I think it takes more effort to be a contractor!
I guess it is a career choice! I personally would rather be a contractor!
It's definitely a 'Choice' which means - "its Personal" - Maybe for Career or for money or maybe because babes love consultants !!! :) ..
The 'loser' is the one who tries to judge that "Choice", by saying their choice is better ;)

Dude, I have been sparring with Pappu and Starsun for quite some time now. IV needs to be a "Paying Members Only" organisation.
Per some statistics regularly floating around here, IV has 40,000 odd members. A membership fee as small as $1/month!! ($12/year), will INSURE a steady flow of funds, that will make a HUGE difference.
Even if 20,000 of that 40,000 run away due to the $12.00/yr subscription requirement, that still leaves IV with almost a QUARTER million dollars worth of cash at hand, .

I would say, lets make this a $5 monthly membership org. IV can help you much more than your Immigration attorney can.
I'm not aware of any one else who directly deals with USCIS and with chambers of govt.
