You New York is New York, part of the USA.That's why I said local government... you have that in the US, too, you know...

Saying that you are small, rich and well educated... And then you even say, you are technologically advanced?

Have you been to Singapore, Kuwait, Japan? I can name a few more places, but let's keep the list short. No I haven't been to any of those places. But what has that to do with anything...?

Again, this is not a contest, and I didn't even say we were the most technological advanced population in the world, nor the richest.

Just that we as population in general are rich and technologically advanced. Or don't you agree with that?

This is why I do not see "electric cars" gaining mainstream popularity any time soon.

Because they don't want you to.
We should have had electric cars for short-haul 20 years ago.
It's all a big scam, and most Americans don't even know they are the chumps.

So who was that guy in the blue shirt who kept yelling at them to stop and kept getting in between them to stop it? was that not a McDonalds employee? or is that just being ignored in this crusade?

Bill Gates was also a programmer at Apple, when Steve and company visited Xerox Parc and learned about the windows GUI concept. Bill took that concept when he left Apple and started Microsoft, then teamed up with IBM that was looking for a new OS to use with their PC's. Which they would later sell to corporate America, the government, and the military. Also with IBM clones, Windows PC's would become affordable for the average person needing a computer. Hence the reason there are more PC users than Mac users, but that is starting to change as Windows becomes less secure and more bloated.

Bill Gates was never an Apple employee. He had already swindled IBM by selling them an OS which he didn't yet even have,
put together his hacked QDOS, (literally, Quick and Dirty Operating System) and submitted that with redundant licensing and royalty
agreements to IBM, well before agreeing to design MS Word for Mac. He borrowed the Mac computer, swiped code off of it, and hence
designed (hacked) Windows 1.0 -- As far as working for Apple, one might say he was merely working against Apple.

We're making some adjustments to the score display so it's less confusing.

So people won't see scores jump 2 points, etc...

The key word in that is IF most best buys don't have any ipads in stock to begin with and neither do apple store. There is a very short supply of them right now. so IF a store has some based on SOP they can hold them. It'll only be till Sunday so calm yourselves down. As for the PS3 can only be sold with a PSP you should have told him to shove it and spoke with a manager. That can get a kid fired

I think it will come out only if the video iPod that is out now is starting to slow down in sales. The product cycle determines how quickly the next upgrade comes out. On the Apple Store the iPod is in 2nd place. When it drops down to 4th we might see the new video ipod. Although Apple might not wait that long and introduce it sooner to keep demand strong.

If the rumors are true about using it with iTV then this item will become a hot gadget quickly and iTV will sale even better when it does come out.

I have not bought an iPod in 3 years and own 3. For the first time I might buy a new one if this video iPod comes out with these specs.:)

I don't know, that would be one big download. With people still using dial-up, I'm just not seeing it. As for the USB stick, that would be neat and the best way to go, because of the AIR.

Yeah, installing an OS straight from the Internet ? Never heard of that before.

Not everyone is stuck on dial-up, and it would be nice for Apple to finally provide an option that has been the norm in many other OS installers for the last 15 years.

However, I doubt we won't see optical discs. For one, they are much cheaper and faster to duplicate than Flash memory devices. It would make no sense for Apple to go the costly route of Flash only distribution just yet since most of their line-up still have DVD drives.

Apple will need to open up osX to generic PC's but i can understand they'll want to wait until the Mac growth is stalling. Maybe at about 10% marketshare ?

another thing people should keep in mind is...why release all new products at one event when you can stagger the release and keep interest over a longer period of time.

i.e macbook pro updates are coming, just like most of things people want (although SOME of the things some people want are just downright crazy), but it wont happen at once, and its gonna take a while!

I hope they will not delay MBP to avoid canibalism with MBA.
