Thats interesting to know that we even pay higher life insurances due to not having a greencard. can someone else second this from their experience. I am not aware of these hardships so if we have to say this in any media interview, we need correct information substantiated by facts.
Forgot to mention. Check those online quote sites. Each one of the companies has a disclaimer that you have to be either a citizen and a PR to qualify. Thanks.

Are you referring to an 'Online' degree by any chance?! Please tell me the name of this University where you get a M.S. in 3 semesters...
Thats about 27 credits to get a Masters degree.. insteresting. No wonder they will never pass this bill into law.
The assupmtion of 27 credits is wrong. You could take 4 - 5 courses a sem (about 12 -15hrs, the way undergrads do) and finish the MS from any good school that way in 3 sems if you are really into it.

What is received date? What is delivered date? How come there are 6 days gap between those days? Even if you assume that the receiving guy took 6 days to lift his hand and receive, how come the received date is before the delivery date? So he received it even before it was delivered to him.

Did your checks get cleared?
I believe YES, required checks were issue from the law firm's account, No personal.
What was your receipt date on the notice?
Receipt Date is July 09th (I confirmed Online).

India definitely needs a F-22 like aircraft considering the Indian AGNI-3 is still not operational and there is no proper long-range nuclear weapon delivery medium. Sukhoi's and Mirage's are no F-22's.

What about if the I-140(EB2) rejected?. The 485 will be rejected too?. What are the possibilities of I-140 rejection?

The request to adjudicate I-485 will go out only after EB-2 I-140 is approved. I-140 rejection "should" not trigger your pending EB-3 I-485 rejection but it all depends on how the IO interprets your case. He could issue an RFE (I would guess) asking for an EVL for your EB-3 case. In my colleague's case however, TSC automatically adjudicated the I-485 since the new EB-2 I-140 carried the same Alien# as the pending I-485. It seems TSC has a system in place to identify such cases, NSC doesn't. Another colleague of mine whose I-485 is pending at NSC and EB-2 I-140 approved at TSC is still waiting for I-485 approval and its been a month since his I-140 was approved.

If you have created a login as customer in USCIS website at @ https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/jsps/index.jsp.
As soon as you log in you can see the last updated date of your case.
You may atleast know if something changed on your cases internally based on this LUD

My wife's AP was approved today. The receipt date on the original filing was Jun1st.
Since, we had to visit Canada shortly for a conference, we took the invitation letter to the InfoPass appointment. The person at the counter asked us the fax the documents to the Nebraska office and we did that the very same day.
After a week, we received an approval email.
I also had contacted the CSC around 20 days before the infopass appointment, even though I chose the 45 day options while booking the appointment.
Hope this information helps others.

This is what you can do - Both in Mumbai and in Delhi, you have USCIS approved doctors who help people going through CP. In other words those who choose to go through emp based CP or family based Green Card which US embassy issues, go through Indian hospitals in Mumbai and Delhi. Most of the EB2's are very happy with the bulletin (which they should be) but I also see most of them are non-donors (or the free riders).

Agreed that I haven't contributed (yet) but that's a mighty big acquisition from your end on calling all of us EB2's free riders without any considerable data to prove it.
I think it's within our best interests to remain united until things are straightened up but I sure can understand your bitterness and hope the best for you too.

F1 is not an option. To get an F-1 you have to prove intent to move back once your education is over. Being married to a permanent resident its almost impossible to prove that. This is a very tough situation. H-1 and L-1 are options but that depends on her educational background and line of work. One thing i would recommend if you plan to continue your stay in US is apply for her visitor visa before your marriage if you have enough time before your wedding. Atleast she can come visit you if she gets a multiple entry visa. Once you are married you can kiss good bye to the visitor visa option too.
It is not advisable to lie in your application about the wedding. If they find you of comitting fraud they can give you a 3 to 10 year ban from entering united states depending on the seriousness of the fraud.
